Mashable - The Social Media Guide: Yahoo’s New Artist Pages Aggregate Online Music From Across the Web

Hmmm... this sounds like something lesser known artist can really get behind. Seems like the playing field for independent artists are getting more and more even everyday.

While MySpace may still be a go-head for music, MySpace is getting harder to use. Unless MySpace does something similar to Facebook Fan Page management, I don't see why I should maintain my myspace page.

You link to every site except the headliner?

Not sure why Yahoo isn't linked at all lol. Also, maybe I missed it, but this new design/layout isn't live yet.

We sort of assume people know how to get to Yahoo :-) That said, added a link to the new music site, which is available here - http://new.music.yahoo.com/

And now we see why they bought foxytunes. Looks exactly like Planet.
  • Lucas Gonze · 8 months ago
Ben: yup, it started as Foxytunes Planet.

I guess I found www.winamp.com/music much better for artist discovery amongst all artist pages. There is rich content and loads of photos to see. Try out Winamp's artist pages.
