I am getting two different ranks in the 2 different search engines with two different number of competition for my sites. It is better-so I won't complain if caffeine is honing in on what the sites are about instead of just slapping up corporate sites with no relevance.
The other issue I have is outdated links -that announce a meeting or a seminar for instance which is 3 years old....I hope they clean up that kind of junk stuff and keep the content that writers take time to write which is all original and with good information.

From my testing on Bing so far, I don't think Google has anything to worry about?
This new google search is good though!

Youtube did add some features after bing was released... but who says that they would not release those features even if bing mas not there. Google is contantly improving their apps. Gmail was in beta for more than 4 years... are you also going to say that all their improvements to gmail were just a response to hotmail and yahoo mail?

I recently conducted a search for "listing products on Bing Shopping". Bing returned crap results, Google gave me the answers I needed.

Bing is fairly weak but doing very well with their marketing push.

... yet any other company who didn't come up with it soon follows suit i.e. iPod (Zune), iPhone (Name any touchscreen phone), general clean Apple design via PowerBook, MacBook/Pro etc (Countless design PC ripoffs).

Suggestion -- try using that logic with something like BAC while driving in Illinois. .08 will give you a warning. .30 will put you in handcuffs and jail while your vehicle is impounded.

I tried Bing shortly before writing this and my search results just brought me an entire first page of Wiki/dictionary/overall irrelevant links whereas the same search in Google brings me exactly what I'm looking for. I guess there's a reason why Google has become something second-nature to me and, I think, many others due to its accuracy and speed. I don't even think of going somewhere else to find something anymore... I just Google it. Writing this now the actual name 'Google' seems foreign because I simply don't go anywhere else to find something on the net.

While I like the new improvements I'm still dissapointed by the mediocre search results for languages other then english. Any news on improved search results for other languages? After all, we're talking about a big chunk of customers here.
