In my opinion Wikipedia has done the right thing to ban Scientology accounts

A perfect example of why Wiki is not considered a reliable research resource and is not accepted at many colleges here in Vermont. They were right to remove the offending IP addresses.

I believe in freedom of speech and the everyone's right to spirituality and pursuit of whatever religion they like. But, Scientology is monstrous and wicked. So I'm glad that it's banned from Wikipedia, although I'm sure that many people will claim this act as unethical. Maybe because they do not really know what Scientology is all about.

Freedom of speech is important.
changing history and inciting religious/racial hatre could arguably be much worst but very difficult to 'take side' but might be much more worthwhile.
Just curious..
is this first time Wikipedia done this, ever? if not, which other site(s) has it 'banned' before? interesting to know.

I think the two rival factions mentioned are misspelled. It should read "admirers of Scientology and anyone who is not a retarded moron". When are we gonna get rid of religion and focus on important matters?
