at least 113 hours a month for me. Interesting time to do a poll, since most people who aren't online that much probably aren't online Saturday afternoons or even know about mashable. I'm guessing most everyone who reads this article is way above average.

Since I work using the internet, I spend about 8-12 hrs a day online. That works out to being 225/month just on weekdays - I also use the net quite a bit on weekends, so I'd say about 250-300 hrs/month.

Hmm... Let's extrapolate. Keep in mind, I'm a web designer.
I spend about... 8–14 hours on my computer every day and most of that time I'm interacting with the internet in one form or another.
Over the course of my life, assuming I live to the average of 76 and knowing that I didn't really become internet obsessed until my junior year of high school that's probably 163,520–286,160 hours of my life.
That's about 25–43% of my life spent on my computer assuming I keep up the current rate until the day I die.
I don't even sleep that much. Not sure how I feel about that.

Let's see....I work for about 2 years now in the web development industry. I work every day, from monday to sunday from 12 to 15 hours, all on the internet (always have google homepage open). If we take the average 13 hours for example, this means....erhmmm
91 hours / week => 364 hours / month => 4368 hours / year => 8736 hours so far on the internet...and counting.....
The bad part of this is that i don't regret any single moment of the "wasted" time so far...

I would say I've been an early adopter of on-line useage (since 1995). Over that time my work and my home life have become very much on-line oriented. Recently, I moved to another state in Australia and have been unemployed so my time during the day has been actively engaging in social media: Facebook, etc. I love the things I can do on-line now compared to 10 years ago! The hours I spend on-line now would be way above 68 hours a month.

I sleep 8 hours a night, that leaves 16x30, so that's 480. Subtract 8 hours a month for yoga=472, and maybe 15 hours for showers, . I'd say close to 450, half of which are on the iPhone. I listen to podcasts in the gym, so that doesn't count as offline, and I read online, so...Jeez, I'm sorry I started to think about this.

Since I produce online docs and an international podcast and market them myself...about 10 hours every day. Even when I am editing I have a separate screen of tabs so I can research and keep in touch. My boyfriend is "mac" and does sometimes sleep with me! The only time I am off is when I run, meditate and teach dancing...so my body is actually in movement. Maybe I have been focused way too long..but I am making progress so I guess it is all worth it and it works for me.
