After the last couple months dealing with tons of Firefox problems (including slow loading of pages, freezing, crashing, etc.) Chrome has now become my new favorite browser.

Tested those 3 Internet Browsers on a Pentium III machine. The verdict Google Chrome (version 3), Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 3.5

I'm using a Pentium III-S 1.4Ghz machine with 2GHz RAM, I got to say Google Chrome has the edge on this one on the other side Firefox laggs all the time no matter what tweak I use.

I have been a firefox user for a long...and to be honest I never even gave Chrome a second thought. I like firefox, I use firefox, so firefox is my obvious choice.

The browser in the world is Chrome. Although it doesn't have extensions that are coming in the way it's very fast, good, and it's from Google.

I like Google chrome over firefox when you compare it without considering the add ons. Else I consider Firefox, since it has huge list of add ons which is indespensible.

It amazes me thjat people voted for Firefox. Im disappointed . I used chrome for months now as my default browser. I would not switch back to firefox even if someone gave me the money to do so , seriously. Chrome is THE modern, intuitive, fastest browser at the moment.

Its a close one On the one hand, The plethora of add ons available with firefox really makes me productive, but lately I have been using Chrome because its faster and doesn't gobble up my RAM the way firefox does.

No offense but this is meaningless. You are asking opinions :) I want facts. I'd rather see test results instead of a poll! Which starts faster? which loads faster? which has the most display or security bugs? which has the most features? 5 chrome features which firefox misses. 5 Firefox features chrome misses... the possibilities are endless imo :)

Try Firefox 3.7a1pre and you'll be saying Chrome 4 is slow! It loads huge sites like CNN, FoxNews, and MySpace as though it were 3.5 on steroids on speed. Just remember to change the about:config setting so it ignores extension compatibility and enables them all.

Firefox is too bloated, and it takes too long to startup. Chrome is light, fast, and effective.

Not really... None of the addons I use can be replicated in iGoogle. Only thing I like about Chrome is the little spy guy icon when you're in an Incognito icon. I personally like Windows as my preferred OS because I am used to it and I haven't used a Mac since OSX came out. Simply don't like OSX personally. If Chrome adopted my OS interface it would be better. I can do that with Firefox. Primarily why I have addons.

You can do that in Firefox too, in the History menu; and they've made it more robust in FF 3.5.

Chrome's tabs are convenient. Sometimes I accidentally close one, then if I open a new one, I can click "recently closed tabs" to go back to the page I closed by accident.

I'm easy to please, I suppose. :p
