Can't watch Hulu in Europe. Any Youtube link?
  • Mike Bogle · 2 months ago
Likewise in Australia, for a supposed digital video success story I just don't see it. Literally and figuratively.

Attention international users: Just use the free and easy-to-use Hotspot Shield :)
Takes a bit more buffering but it gets you watching Hulu.

Sadly, those of us outside the US cannot watch the video, since Hulu only allows viewing within the US. The world wide web is actually sometimes not that wide at all.

The video is bloked for me at Brazil!

Twitter gets mentioned a lot on Big Bang Theory, as early as last fall.

I'm def. going to watch this on Hulu later.

    lol good episode.

Can't wait until the world wide web is truly global and any country can watch things.
  • acurrie · 2 months ago
Oh look, another Hulu that nobody outside of the United States can watch.

Guess you've no interest in International readers... See ya!

Hmm. But did anyone mention MySpace?? I would expect it, given the company is owned by Fox (or a subsidiary ...) but also not expect it because 'The Simpsons' always pokes fun at Rupert Murdoch.

Attentive 'Glee' fans noticed that MySpace was mentioned in two separate episodes.

Have you noticed that Millhouse gets a new phone every time!

It's an unrealistic portrayal of what a classroom is like and what kids know these days.

    Yeah saw this...

Methinks the world wide web should be a little more world wide.

At ThePort Network we take social media fairly seriously (partly because we have so many seriously engaged nonprofit and association clients). But we like to take a break from all of the seriousness on occasion. To that end, back in April, we put together a blog post that was also a parody of Twitter. It gave our hard-working readers a much-needed chuckle. http://www.theport.com/blog/09-04-21/The_Twoubl...

OMG I literally got on Twitter when I saw the teacher give them the 20 minutes of twittering as homework! I was really suprised!

Jennifer, you might not care much about the international audience, perhaps Mashable's readership is almost entirely American, but it would be polite to post a "US Audience Only" warning at the start of your piece if you feel you must post content that is not available to most of the Web.
  • Jennifer Van Grove · 2 months ago
Point taken and it is something I normally make it a point to state. We do have an International audience, and if there are YT embeds available we always opt for that over Hulu.

I liked this episode, but I can't believe that the new substitute teacher could be so wasted after so little vodka. An energy drink can is what... 8 oz? Check out any good bar and that's maybe two drinks and I'm sure there are a few teachers at that bar.

It's ironic that the founder of Mashable is not from the United States yet Mashable continues to link to geographically blocked websites, such as Hulu, with blatent disregard for international readers.

Hulu sucks. So much for a global forum.

Cant watch the video, from South AFrica.... Is there another link?
