Once again, BRILLIANT marketing from this company. Hyundai clearly will continue pushing forward after this recession thanks to thier relentless focus on product and marketing quality.

Way to go Hyundai Canada. You did a good thing!
  • Awfy · 1 month ago
Hyundai understand brilliant marketing! Everyone likes it when a company as big as Hyundai going out of their way to help a customer. Unfortunately Hyundai suck balls when it comes to cars, so unlucky for that guy.

Do not be fooled. Hyndai is the devil in disguise in this situation lol. What about all the people with 2003 hyndai tiburons that you screwed over with bad service and product hyndai? I have so much stuff wrong with my car, it is barely functional. I would never recomend a hyndai vehicle and i will always tell of there terrible service

That's all fine and dandy, but what about the other person's car that was also demolished?
  • r0cketman22 · 1 month ago
Maybe their insurance pays for it?
  • karakickass · 1 month ago
The other car was apparently a rental (according to the Toronto Star)

Hopefully he isn't responsible for the damages. That really sucks.

it looks like my grandma doesn't need a gym anymore.

This video is really superb! I really enjoy to see that video . The man who is driving the car is really crazy . The way he is parking the car is really funny. Nice video.

Didn't the victim have car insurance that would cover his crushed car and seek recovery from the person in the BMW?

It appears that the perpetrator lost her 41 year old son to cancer last February. She's probably still not herself. I hope the courts help her get some emotional/mental balance as well as holding her accountable for this. http://www.canadianmortgagetrends.com/canadian_...

What does that have to do with bad driving? It's obvious the woman hit the gas instead of the brake. People need to be responsible for their actions.

I not usually a sucker for corporate videos but this does make me feel good about Hyundai.

They will certainly be more on my radar next time I'm buying a car.
  • karakickass · 1 month ago
The other car was a rental (the Toronto Star had that info).

One afternoon, as I was driving down my street toward home from work, I saw a car parallel parked -- right on top of another car. Watching the video, I still have a hard time understanding how you can do something like that. (The car on my street was a regular car, not an SUV!)

At least the guy got a new car, but I feel bad for the other car that got crushed. Why didn't anyone hook him up?

I wish I parked where shitty parkers parked.

Kudos to Hyundai for stepping up to the plate, and acting socially. They couldn't have paid for better, good will, publicity, marketing, awareness (the list is endless), that this one act has garnered them. Really silly that BMW missed the boat and have left their vehicle as the villian of the piece.
  • zaneology · 1 month ago
Wow. This is kind of a commercial for the "car mounting/squashing" power of a BMW...I think.... :)
  • James · 1 month ago
I wonder what happened to the white car, as it looks like the BMW drove up on it a little bit too...
  • Heather · 1 month ago
Those BMW SUVs really hold up; she ran up onto TWO cars, then backed off and drove away and it did not even look like she had any damage to her BMW.

What an idiot. Watching this video makes me want to play some Grand Theft Auto, though.
