I'll say this. i looked up a bunch of pictures of tubifex worms and none of the pictures look quite like the things in the video. however, all the pictures I found were of the worms completely submerged in water (like at the bottom of a lake), not clinging to a wall at the surface of a body of water. Perhaps this is what makes them look so different in the video. In the third blob especially, you can see that there are strands (presumably worms) pulling into the center, but it's nearly impossible to see the individual worms. Are they covered in some sort of slime that makes them blend together visually? that's really the only thing that makes sense to me if I am going to stick with the theory that these are tubifex worms.

I don't believe that it's 'just worms'. For this 'thing' to move in unison, it's got to be a single organism, in my non-biological opinion. It just doesn't look like a worm colony.

I mean, after years of preservatives, anti-depressants, and microwaved food, something weird was bound to develop in the sewers of America!

This is intersting, Aline? NO WAY, why and how an alien form got to sewer? Tubiflex worm colony? Anyone who belive it's that as never seen tubilflex worms, it looks nothing even close to that. Any sewer contains enough protein, water and other nutriences to substain life under various forms. This is either somthing that mutated or a new form of life in it's self. If you don't belive that new lifeform can be created, juste study the Galapagos Islands.

I would be inclined to believe the exact same sentiments. I believe most of what society believes as a whole is what I call "The norm factor". If it is not normal or falling in line then it becomes radical or (cough) (cough) "water cooler entertainment" as so elequently put.

I would be less inclined to believe it was an Alien life form or even an unidentified life form if such a factor did not affect almost every society since socieites were formed.

In either case I would venture to say if this was some kind of "life form" unknown to us and it posed any danger we would probably be told of such events.. or at least we hope. (Just another weather balloon, eh') Totally Priceless!!

Actually, I think it's healthy to question pretty much any idea, belief system, or institution without proper evidence or knowledge behind it. The problem is, people accept most of what is presented to them without much (if any) critical thought or rationalization. If you ask me, television actually promotes this type of thinking, not the other way around, as you suggest.

I'm not saying I believe this is some sort of alien life form, I'm merely making a point that if it was such a life form, we would be led to believe otherwise.
