I like change - yes updates are tweets. BUT what's this about a trade mark. Someone should take out a class action on behalf of birds! This is absurd the whole concept of twitter must have been based on the idea of tweeting NOT the other way around. Mark you could say the same about windows!!

Anyone who thinks Twitter is going to fade away in five years has another thing coming. Tweeting is as socially significant as Googling. If you believe one is important, the other is. I think Twitter - and blogs analyzing Twitter - are cool.

It makes sense to change it to what everyone is calling it. Its the people who started @ replies to other users too. Twitter right now is the epitome of social media because the users create the content and create the applications.
