There are tons of third-party Twitter apps out there but every time you use one of this tools there is the question: "Will Twitter accept this?" So you don't know if maybe your account will get suspended from Twitter because of using this apps. So I think it's not such a bad idea that Twitter will tell us now which apps are Twitter welcome! Sill now I was always very carefull with using apps but the apps that Twitter will recommend I will for sure us.

Twitter should definitely buy this one. Someone needs to get control of some of these many apps. while some of them are useful a lot of also designed just to spam twitter

I think this is an excellent idea! There are so many apps out there that can make life so much easier for all kinds of tweeters. Hopefully this will catch on and be really useful for helping people find the Twitter tools they need. I found out about it because someone already nominated our app, TweetFunnel, as one of their favs!

It's kinda stupid because when you do a search for #appwednesday on twitter all I see are mentions of this article, that hardly helps me find the best third party apps.
