  • Christina Warren · 1 month ago
I know -- I know - I'm sorry! Unfortunately the largest image available was only 671 (so slightly larger but not much more readable), but if you click on the link to the actual report, the results are laid out in a list: http://www.briansolis.com/2009/10/twitter-celeb...
  • Kit White · 1 month ago
Tell us what validates this report. I'm seeing crap that is totally unbelievable.
  • Manu J · 1 month ago
The site www.celebsutra.com created by me provides dynamic celebrity stats. (http://celebsutra.com/celebs/ranked_list ) . Also the list compiled by peoplebrowser omits celebrities like John C Mayor (http://twitter.com/johncmayer) and Ashlee Simpson Wentz (http://twitter.com/ashsimpsonwentz), Tony Hawk (http://www.twitter.com/tonyhawk) etc Since it omits big celebrities like these, I don't think the report is very believable.

  • harvard122 · 1 month ago
i like how the graph is fucking hella small so you cant read it.
  • Jak · 1 month ago
    @Alyssa_Milano is the most engaging!!
  • r0cketman22 · 1 month ago
Chuck Norris doesn't need Twitter. He's already following you.

(Also, Britney Spears is following me.)
  • xcaldwell · 1 month ago
I love the so-called "reactions" section in comments. You are pulling from the twitter stream, which looks like a bunch of Me-Too yahoos just re-posting the same thing. Not a reaction in sight. This is why Twitter exhausts me. I feel like I'd get more useful reactions by screaming my tweets into the rush hour crowd in the NY subway.

People's fascination with the so called Twitterati is a sad reflection on society!

Interesting, intelligent people like @stephenfry are the ones people should be listen too!
  • Helly Copeland · 1 month ago
It would interesting to see where Stephen Fry comes in comparison... he may even beat Miley Cyrus...
  • The Eargasm · 1 month ago
Well here is his Flickr page but it does not really help with the first graph. http://www.flickr.com/photos/briansolis/4021388...

    That sucks.

check out people browser though. It's pretty cool. If I can find the pie chart somewhere I'll post the link. :-)
  • briansolis · 1 month ago
Hi! Bigger image coming over. For some reason that's the only one that didn't get blown up. I'll publish the link here. Also the full "text" list, by rank is here: http://bit.ly/3uWgbS

they forgot to add me!! lol http://www.theincrediblecreation.com/
  • edwardaten · 1 month ago
It would be even more interesting to see who has the more loyal following in terms of link-clicks. We have a few celebrities using our service (Swift.FM) and traffic they generate is not proportionate to follower counts.
  • zDagger · 1 month ago
I'm not sure how you leave @Alyssa_Milano out of this list. She's easily the most engaging and interesting celebrity on Twitter. She "gets it" and uses it like a real, normal person. Miley Cyrus probably got a bunch of mentions because people decided to throw a temper tantrum when she left.
  • briansolis · 1 month ago
Hey Brandon, this is a general sampling intended to get a structure in place and then also to encourage feedback and suggestions for the September report, which we're already working on. She's in Sept.
  • johnrossharvey · 1 month ago
I follow celebs I like, race drivers, actors, producers. As a writer I added some suggested twitter folk like Chris Brogan and Guy Kawasaki, and some agents and publishers, none of which are taking me on, but their tweets have been useful. My next effort is in an editorial evaluation stage before I publish, and my name will not be this one, nor will it be at the site I'm linking, but it should be much better. Please verify @paultracy3 because he's in my next book (cameo).

I like the Twitter star on the hollywood walk of fame, because Twitter has definitely become a rock star in its own right. I wonder how long it will last.
