Mobatalk has higher quality audio recording, it's free, you don't need to sign up, and it tweets a link to your post.

    What am I missing here?

Nice for all the iPhone fans but, yes, audioboo & mobatalk (and Utterli) already exist. Why, Stan, was there no market review in your post here?

    Hi Stan,
GeoGraffiti is a Voice Marking platform for sharing location-specific information from any mobile phone in voice form. We also offer integration with Twitter and our service is free. Interested readers can read about the new feature on our blog at http://www.geograffiti.com/blog/.

LOVE this!!!! While it makes me lazier than I already am, without having to type on the tiny virtual keyboard with my big, stubby fingers....I think this is a GREAT idea. Sure, its not the first app or service to post audio to Twitter, but as an iPhone addict, this is perfect. 99 cents very well spent!

Hammy's Pizza in Portland, Oregon does an audio recording with TweetMic, then sends it out. For instance - "Order a large pizza from Hammy's Pizza in the next three hours and get a free DVD with your order!"

YiqYaq and Soundbiter iPhone apps also can post recorded audio directly to Twitter, but also let you hear twitter audio (and typed tweets, via text-to-speech) on your iphone.

This looks like another great app, just about to get the IPhone, and I will definitely be checking it out.

Thanks for the info, I always wondered what Twitter would sound like with almost 22,000 followers talking out loud LOL!

    Take care,
    Scott
