It's amazing how the line between publisher and audience, and between coder and non-coder is blurring as tech becomes more accessible, and information moves in every direction rather than just top down. And social media tech and info flow is driving this.

I second Stack Overflow. When I first started using it, I was really surprised by the quality and diversity of information. At first glance it looks like just another programmers message board. But they've seemed to have come up with an effective method of distilling quality information.
