These street level images are pretty funny. People seem to be concerned about privacy issues concerning having their pictures posted regarding this project. I wrote a post about what Google Maps Zoom Feature might be called.

Hey, the dude coming out of the strip club looks just like me, but I don't wear a watch... Can I sue?
I am amazed.. taking pictures of people and posting them online without permission. In this country (The Netherlands) that is illegal. Apparently not in the USA?
We have almost the same street photo system in France with the yellow pages (Pages Jaunes) since 7 years (although the pics are smallers). Same thing for Spain. http://photos.pagesjaunes.fr/ You first click, then click and then click again...
I'm against this. This feels too Orwellian. Does that kid in #12 know he's in the picture? Come on. Back off, Google.

This is creepy. It was one thing when Google was snapping pix of our houses from 50 feet above, but this is something else. Why are we laughing at an immense private company invading our privacy like this? And by the way, Tera Patricks died a year or so ago. Not funny.

I saw that guy scaling a door on mission street in a totally different place and time! it was in broad daylight, week of july 20th. i thought to say something or speak to him, but he was so casual and professional that I actually got the idea that he was breaking into his own place or something. Smooth operator. look out for this character in the Mission/Excelsior in the Fall - he's definitely on a spree! And dont be like me - say something!

None of these pictures stood out, the bland commentary made it worse, and none of them even made me laugh on the inside (let alone on the outside).

In Oceanside CA, at approximately 1768 S. Pacific Ave, there's a lady changing out of her swim suit and she's just completely flashing the camera. I mean, this chick is totally topless.
It is from only hours ago. This is, by far, the most bizarre picture ever taken at Street View. A man peeing in the street facing to... the camera! He shows everything mother nature gave to him... yet.
It still can be seen in Google Street View, but very likely not for very long. Send out the link to your friends if you want them to see it alive in Street view and not in a frozen pic!
