Mashable - The Social Media Guide: 2008/08/11/topics-for-corporate-bloggers/

Interesting. I supposed a lot of corporate bloggers will keep this post bookmarked. Works well for the social media marketeers types who counsels on corporate blogging. Now I am wondering if such a list will help against the top excuse today - no time to write.

I especially liked the tradeshow suggestion, these are always fun, new and will interest many...

I know, I know, it's a plug, but...if the thing you need to post on your blog must be professionally written, consider using one of our 1700 writers to compose it for you.

I'd add: If you are only few people, do share which events you will be attending, especially if it is not a tradeshow. It helps readers to connect with you and helps you to get information from other people who will also attend.

Great ideas and very practical. Corporate bloggers tend to overthink posts sometimes which can keep them from being interesting.(and too infrequent to draw a regular audience) Espcially like the ones that let you see what type of company they are behind the press release and corporate persona.

Excellent! This will be very helpful for the Office Evil "blog" (http://www.officeevil.com), particularly the tips about "Corporate Culture"... Office Evil has a very unique corporate culture.

Great post, I'm always looking for a little influence when it comes to writing for the sake of content.

BTW, why are there no options to print articles on mashable? Sometimes its just easier on the eyes (after hours of staring at LCD's) to read articles on paper... but I don't want all the headers and side bars.

Great resource, although trying to encourage a corporate to blog is not always easy, as many do not realise the benefit that it could have on their own company.
Blogging to promote company brand awareness can often be extremely effective.

Nice :-) I was able to read a book entitled The Corporate Blogging Book through a summary by business summaries which I recently subscribed to. Like me, as a writer, if you're into business and inspirational books as reference material, you can check them out too!

Great list. Good source of information. Altho I might not use all the ideas, certainly there are some that meet the need. I am not in the corporate environment, but who says that some of these cannot apply to SMB blogs or personal blogs.
