I guess if the ship is sinking, it's best to do _something_ to try to stay afloat.
Unless you're sinking in quicksand, in which case you'll only drown quicker if you fight it.
Elsewhere I've been defending people's desire to use an Izea product. If the blogger and the reader are both ok with integrated ads what's the big deal? I MANUALLY insert ads into my blog and so do 90 percent of other bloggers.
Personally I figured Typepad was going to go the way of the dodo bird with comparable (better?) free blogging software out there, so I'm glad they found a way to stay in the game.
