as a big fan of "camerabag" i have to suggest it to you and your readers. really nice presets of filters like cinema, black/white, sepia and so on. check it out, hope you will like it to.
Anyone know a app that you can record video direct to the iphone? I actaully cant believe iphone doesnt come with video capture as standard.

Hey Tony, if you jailbreak there's iPhone Video Recorder from DreamCatcher available via Installer and Cydia. I haven't tried it yet, but it supports up to 60 mins of recording .mov and mpeg4 formats.

Wow - this is an amazing post! For our use, Mobile Fotos is the best Flickr app avialalbe ... still waiting for the develop to update so we can view image's EXIF information.

you might also try the Storyz app, you can share pictures and videos and it works on different platforms (PC, iPhone and ordinary mobile phone)
