Just went to the sign up page (got my coupon code before entering ANY business info) and under business type the closest option for any type of new media business is "Technology and telecommunications business." Given the fact that its a Facebook app I thought it may be directed at app devs, but instead it seems aimed at small brick and mortar businesses. It'll be interesting to see which type of businesses fill out the community, but until then it seems to be a poorly thought out app.

Failed for me too. I tried to add it to the Facebook page we have for Dawdle, and just got the banner. I'd mock them, but we've pushed out broken code, too.
