With regards to your discussion around Twitter backgrounds, I feel this is an under-utilized thing, and am running a "Hunt for the Coolest Twitter Page" to, I guess, stimulate creativity here.

I also have multiple online profiles and use a site called LookupPage that aims at representing you professionally online and making sure you are found every time someone searches your name. This service also helps users promote their business / services, generate business leads and track their page visitors. You can check it out if you like :-)

Ah yeah, wasn't BusinessCard2 supposed to be on this list? We're they not the first group to break away from the vCard/hCard into a dynamic virtual business card? Also, isn't there a pretty well-publicized project called Webcards going on as well?

ClaimID, which is online here: http://claimid.com/, allows you to use OpenID and is a place to put your digitall identity online in one place. It even has a bookmarklet to claim ownership for your pages online. Its simple, easy and also gives you what is called an hcard - which is really a vcard. I have online on my blog - on the sidebar.

WiseStamp (online here: http://www.wisestamp.com/) is also a great way to embed full fledged ID cards in your e-mail signagature. Both are excellent ways to manage your online identity.
