I tried to join MySpace for Moms, but after filling out the required fields and submitting my application, I've reached what appears to be a non-conclusive dead end...I's a great idea...HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Just FYI Pete, Minti has also launched a swag of social networking style features which take us beyond our initial "write and rank advice" launch.

Our members get their own blog, a private friends area, lots of friends pictures and nice URL's [username].minti.com including their avatar in the URL icon. Take a look if you are interested :)

Presumably a company like this would have some good funding $$. I don't understand why they wouldn't try to buy a small but established community of moms (there are literarally dozens and possibly hundreds), say a medium-sized message board, and use that to catapult growth? Starting from scratch seems hard.
