Presumably a company like this would have some good funding $$. I don't understand why they wouldn't try to buy a small but established community of moms (there are literarally dozens and possibly hundreds), say a medium-sized message board, and use that to catapult growth? Starting from scratch seems hard.

Just FYI Pete, Minti has also launched a swag of social networking style features which take us beyond our initial "write and rank advice" launch.

Pete, you forgot to mention MothersClick.com. You might prefer our soothing pastels to the "garish green." And that's just the wrapping! There's so much more to love inside. But, alas, we're still in private beta growing our subscribers by invitation only. So, shhhhhh...

I tried to join MySpace for Moms, but after filling out the required fields and submitting my application, I've reached what appears to be a non-conclusive dead end...I's a great idea...HOW DO I SIGN UP?
