I noted that a few of the free sites listed allowed members to place their own ads (while at the same time the site owners would not place ads). Not sure how they can survive on this (aside from upselling, home page ads, email marketing and some other models).
In any case, you saved me a considerable amount of time with this list. It'll help me focus on some key feature sets knowing what questions to ask as I follow a few of my preferences. Thanks!
Please, Narrow it down to 10 - 20 really good ones. I don't have time to pick through all the garbage to find the few good ones on the lists. I thought the idea of compiling a list was to provide some good information. With so many things on the list, the purpose is defeated. I might as well hop on Google and do a search.
That being said - I do like Mashable and hope that the lists start to be more about quality - not quantity (*please*).
