Man, If I were the founder I would sell my share of the company and live the good life.

Does anyone have a dummy account that they would like to share? this site is an invite only and you can't even see the features unless you're a member.

Please post dummy login and password here....

let's see what it takes to be a billionaire. (hint on bitterness and jealousy?)

Surely there is a lock in period and only the investment banks are getting giddy at these figures. If the stock tanks in the next 6 months (or 12 months, whatever the lock in is) the guy most certainly won't be a billionaire. Its paper money for now! The guy is not a billionaire yet.

A lot of Japanese folk I know use Mixi for buying, selling, trading, or giving stuff away. In Japan, you must pay to dispose of things like appliances and furniture, so any social service like Mixi which gets a large user base can really connect people.

There is also the Mixi job search site as well as the event promotion aspect like MySpace. I've "defended" Mixi on this site before. It's really a juggernaut in Japan and there is no other SNS site with any sort of competing market share here, besides maybe the 2-channel forums, perhaps.

If Mixi bought out ImaHima (Dodgeball before there was Dodgeball), and integrated it into the network it would get even bigger.
