This is a great article. I just posted on the meebo blog and mentioned 3bubbles which was removed so I am hoping I struck a sensitive area with them. Social IM?!?! Does it get any cooler? I could not be more on the same page with the this author about where meebo is going nor could I be more excited.

I've been using Meebo for quite some time. Tried this as soon as I saw it. It kicks much ass...believe me. I skimmed the article so I don't know if this was mentioned but this also provides a pretty cool way to track the amount of people viewing your page. They'll usually show up under your "offline" contacts as "meeboguestxxxx". Also as mentioned, you can initiate a conversation with visitors. Thumbs up.
