Ed, yes it sounded to me like a job for Greasemonkey. I didn't look it up, because I have a better solution for Facebook App fatigue... and I'm not missing FB at all.

I believe there was a Greasemonkey script and a bookmarklet for this already....and without the friend having to have this app?
