I have faced with a problem. I have invited some friends for scour by entering my email ID & password. But i m not getting the points from my friends. I do not know how to invite more friends without entering my email ID & password. Can anyone help me?

Hi! Why not give it a try? There's nothing to lose actually. For me, after using it for two days, I'm quite impressed with the search engine. It's slower than Google perhaps but it gives the same results and heck, it might even pay me someday.

i think they donot pay well. i have made 6500 points also. but i didnot get any response from them, when i apply for my cash. avoid this site. this is very scam .

@oldskoolmark. Scour is obviously a publisher in the GOogle and Yahoo networks, and is making money off of the paid search results.

(I had this wacky plan to help non-profits do their google adsense start pages... but it got relegated to my todo list)

We are currently facing a similar dilemma... We built a service that has utility value, but added a points system to it as well. The questions is, is there any value in adding a rewards system to something that is already useful? (Think Credit Cards?)

Yes, idea's good, but I agree, the points system may hinder its fortunes. All depends on who ends up being the core user base.

Love the idea and the core features. However, I would have done without the point system and the gift card... makes the site feel gimmicky and adds a 'cheese' factor to the whole thing -- strategic mistake.

The Scour toolbar doesn't appear to be compatible with Firefox 3 yet.
