It's interesting. I didn't start with Google docs yet.

In fact, everything new softwares or tools like this scare me...

I don't have word, but I use open office, so I guess I will have to start with Google Docs.

It is wonderful to know that Microsoft has taken an initiative to change their proprietary attitude.
And now they are seriously started to think about their online competition.
Anyway Livespace is a boon for those people who are always on the move and requires continuous work on office documents.

    Good Move MS !

Does it work with Open Office?

How about on a Mac? Or on Linux?

Oh yea, MS is only "Open" when it's convenient.

I've been using Google docs for a while to share documents/spreadsheets with clients ... I'll be interested to see how this stacks up in terms of features/performance.

BTW it works on Firefox 2 on Mac OSX.

Guess it depends on your application, but for me, nothing comes close to Google Sites / Jotspot. Teamed together with DocStoc.com, you have all you need!

Interesting article. I've never tested Google docs or anything. May want to try this now =) even though I haven't tried any competitors...

    Microsoft getting better.
