That is truly a great record to hold. You may not know this but you can add the beta release channel to your firefox updates and test out Firefox 3.0.1 as well. It has all of the fixes in it that they did not have time to add into the 3.0 release.

i think your idea is wrong(about 100K). iran has the most internet usage in mideast. every home, office, university in iran has computer and indeed are connected to internet. in our house alone, we have 3 independent PC and laptops. so try to change your mind about iran and Persians.
i wanted to ask you do you think iranian people do ride camel or horse in the streets or go to the work with donkey or horse?

Actually, I was advocating it for most of the day, and from about 1m (when I first got to the site) onwards it seemed to be doing perfectly fine, a bit slow at times, but it always worked.

Iran's number simply show how west is wrong about it. Anything, better to say; EVERYTHING is reflected upside down about Iran in the west, and well, ordinary people believe it (may be someone like you!). Look at those numbers; You could have never expected a retarded country to reach that. Seems like Bush's policy have not yet affected Mozilla, otherwise they would shown something like 200-500 for Iran to destroy its picture like all other medias do in the west.

I think the big surprise is Iran. I would not have guessed that they had 100K computers, much less 100K users able to download FF3.

China is an oppressive regime but they have a lot of people so even a small fraction will give them >100K.

it's crazy, I checked the UK this morning at 8am (GMT) and there were 130,000 downloads. by 9am it was up to 151,000. 20,000 downloads in an hour just from one region... no wonder those servers fell over crying.

FF is very popular in both Germany and Japan. The ranking has been pretty stable since yesterday.
