Why? LinkedIn is dead. LinkedIn is like airport lounge for old people. With an IPO, I think it is going to hurt the outlook on the web industry.

LinkedIn has a very solid concept, but it can learn a thing or two about interface design from Facebook. It didn't seem at all intuitive the first few days I used it.
While my start-up (ClutterMe.com) isn't necessarily a direct competitor to LinkedIn, this is still very interesting news. Feels like a social-network bubble coming up... but there still seems to be a lot of room for growth.

The other notable investors in LinkedIn include Peter Thiel who has also invested in Facebook. Looks like the LinkedIn IPO is going to be a home run for Peter. Sequoia has also invested in LinkedIn. Does anyone know if Sequoia had invested in facebook too?
