Great list! I just want to point out that the del.icio.us add-on also added some notifications for activity in your network and links sent to you making it even nicer!
I second Jeremie - Scribefire should have been added as well.

Well, essential is relative. Ad block is not a must for me. But scribefire (2.x), and firebug (alpha) is mandatory. What about twitterfox or mysocial? I mean how can we live without twitter? ;)

Also you should add Hyperwords, PicLens, Fox Clocks, Googlebar Lite (Still no Upgrade from Google Toolbar), Remember the Milk, Customize Google, Roboform, all of them work fine.
I wish Google would make their extensions work with FF3, the only one that seems to work is the Google Notebook extension. Maybe everyone should e-mail Google?

When's the last time you got a virus from Javascript? If you had a decent anti-virus; like nod32 you would never get viruses!
So you turn off flash ads (which also block a lot of good content due to it's average filtering), you block javascript... so you may as well block images and just read the text.... woo hoo... 1997 all over again!
Not much of a web 2.0 person are you... just lost 50 of the top 100 sites with this setup!
I'd drop in a blogging one - like scribefire and another really handy one is download statusbar.
