Only the idiots use real money

Re: Lunch Money Adds Up to Cash Cow for myYearbook

The last line was the most important in that "members can earn Lunch Money in a variety of ways".

I'm on Facebook and screw around with Owned (where people buy and sell pictures) and Save The Planet. I've never spent a REAL penny and I have had well over L$50 million at one time and probably picked up well over L$125 million overall by playing games and JUST LOGGING IN. They have a daily bonus for each day in a row you log in. It gets to $L1 million a day, so it adds up fast. Since they launched on myYearbook they've been offering L$15,000,000 just to create a myYearbook account.

With that said, this article is not very accurate in terms of the estimate. I would guess they do have a portion of kids with money out there buying but it doesn't require a lot of work (games and kids, anyone?) to rack up L$.

Re: Lunch Money Adds Up to Cash Cow for myYearbook

What about integration with Skype Prime (Skype Premium Call) service, instead of various premium SMS (which has to be negotiated for each carrier in each country)?
Skype is simple and available to anyone in the world. It offers a premium service chargeable per minute or per call... Seems like a good candidate for "click to pay" without giving a credit card number.
As far as I could see, Skype keeps 30% of the list price. EU customers pay extra 15% tax (VAT).

Re: Lunch Money Adds Up to Cash Cow for myYearbook

The text lunch money deal is a nightmare. I feel sorry for the teenagers parents who will have to fork up the bill and some adults who will get caught the rhythm of the text lunch money. Not worth paying it when the most important essentials in life is surviving specially when our economy is messed up.

Re: Lunch Money Adds Up to Cash Cow for myYearbook

There is a sucker born everyday.

Re: Lunch Money Adds Up to Cash Cow for myYearbook

Nothing short of brilliant.
