As for Michael's response come on it was simpler for you to setup a mailinglist then RSS feeds? As for things that bother how about annoying popups?

Re: The Daily Tube Finds Top Videos For You

If you're happy with those "popular" video sections, great. I find a lot of those videos pretty crappy--probably because it's so easy for users to drive up the rankings of their videos by setting their computers to hit refresh over and over again. Which isn't very natural after all.

Another drawback is that, since they take a while to accumulate enough votes to rise to the top, they're often old.

Maybe 25 people screening out the bad and old videos beforehand isn't such a bad idea.

Re: The Daily Tube Finds Top Videos For You

Hey, Nicki. Thanks for the suggestion. We will have RSS service soon so if that's the only thing that turns you off, you should be good to go.

Re: The Daily Tube Finds Top Videos For You

Whoever does this right is going to do well, I believe. There's SO much content out there and it takes so much time to find what's good. StumbleUpon video automates and personalizes this process very well, but isn't at all timely as far as I can tell. Good luck to these folks. In the meantime, I'll be getting their email sent to an email to RSS service for sure.

Re: The Daily Tube Finds Top Videos For You

Half the fun of web-video is finding something really cool on your own. Frankly, I don't see the need for this type of service when YouTube and other video sites have a "popular" video sections. That's natural selection. . . . Not the drivel served up by 25 people who may or may not have our same tastes.
