In fairness - Probably one big reason for lack of musician usability is that neither one of these dopey sites was really ever intended to be a music site. However, the opportunities for increasing one's listenership and fan base exist on both, where on "real" music sites, getting people to listen or become fans is like pulling teeth.
So in this case, I guess we musicians are getting exactly what we "paid for" ;-)
How do I verify my Page to use the Music Player?
In order to upload music to your Page, we need you to submit a valid form of identification that identifies you, the admin of the Page. By submitting a valid form of identification you are confirming that you either own the copyright to the content you will be uploading or that you are authorized by the copyright owner to upload that copyrighted content to your Page.
Please note that you can black out any sensitive information on your identification if you wish, other than your name and picture. We currently only accept photo passports, school IDs, and drivers licenses. If you do not wish to upload a form of identification, you will not be able to upload music.
