    To me, the moment when Tim "suggested" to Jeff that Amazon should find a way to "work out" the issues with Statsaholic in a satisfactory manner, because what Statsaholic offers is of value -- that was the most awkward moment of the Web 2.0 Expo. Bezos did not have a response. The audience waited. Tim said Statsaholic is a great service, and he hopes a resolution that benefits the Web community can be achieved...

    There was silence on stage... a quite awkward silence...

    I would have given a hundred bucks to see that. I would have been the one back in the entrance laughing until I choked. :)

    Excellent update, I think it is great that your reporting is even-handed on the API stuff.

    I personally hope that Amazon settles this and moves on it really isn't helping anyone.

    why dosen't alexa focus on fixing their result quality instead of going after other that simply present them better. A case of resources directed the wrong way

    Also Alexa needs a good competitor...why dosen't msn, yahoo, google with their huge installed base go after alexa?
