    Nah, the issue I have with this is that they're announcing a feature that's already live.

    I notice that a lot of web 2.0 companies launch by announcing their service to techcrunch, read/write, web john batelle's search log, mashable? etc

    If your target is ordinary people why would you want to launch your new site to techcrunch etc?
