Google is only doing this in the nations where Christianity is the dominant religion.
Checking some of the other Google international homepages - in the Middle East and in the Far East - they do not have the products link on the homepage.
This is a tactic to get the maximum ROI for the Xmas season.
Probably Videos aren't really bringing in any return on investment. Users may just be going to YouTube directly or check our the videos that are embedded in the SERPs.
it really makes me wonder. you've stolen 20 seconds of my life, quite frankly - i want it back. you turkey-tastic-bunch-of-web-waste-of-spacers.
That way you could use muscle memory to click in the right place because the link position wouldn't change when you switched from, say, the Google main page to Gmail.
