I thought the same thing first too, but it does make other states more aware of how far they are behind. funny how there are soo many campaigns which implicitly state that america is the center of the universe.

I like green, last two cars we green in fact, but a bit off topic. Ebay logo is green, blue, yellow and red...they appeal to all the masses...alas the secret to their success!

Give guilt trips where guit trips are due. Yeah, corporations need to clean up their act, but so do most consumers in the west. Thank you Yahoo, for providing some tools with the goal of raising awareness; now, how about cleaning up your human rights act and stop colluding with China to imprison free speech activists, hmm?

Thanks for letting everyone know about "Yahoo Green". I live in a rural area on the Big Island in Hawaii and catch our own rainwater from our roof, usually only drive to town once a week, recylce, etc. So it will be interesting to see how yahoo green does, or will it be just a hub of big business corporations who still pollute big time but point out some minor thing they are doing to divert the attention away from the larger negative impact they are doing.

PR campaigns aren't always logical. If anything, we should be giving them SUVs to even out the pollution across America and make the other states less jealous. ;)

Wouldn't you give the hybrid taxis to the least green city. I think it would serve the cause better...assuming the cause is a green country...or is this about PR lift?

I used to live in America for 6 years, I'm not there anymore and I am not American, but people would literally ask me...

"Like, are there like buildings and roads where you're from?"

I didn't live in a desert before going there to study. So I wouldn't be surprised to know that most people think that America is the entire planet.
