So... Do you think Blogger will ever get new templates? Most of theirs is a very dusty 5 years old. How can that not be part of Google/Blogger's strategy? Vox has hundreds...

It exports as Blogger's Atom format, so is there any way to convert it into the BlogML standard which seems to be more universal?

Absolutely. About four or so years ago, I was really considering moving to MT or WP, but simply couldn't because of the rigors I'd have to go thru trying to export six years (at the time) worth of blog posts.

Yes, this is a good feature. I have several blogs that I started on blogspot.com, and still keep them updated on the site. It was nice to be able to export the information to some of my other "hosted" blogs that I store on a seperate webserver. It works well, so give it a try. I exported a couple of my blogspot blogs to http://www.justinrazmus.com. Very easy to do.

I have not tried to import, but it may make sense to merge a couple of my blogs. Great information. Thanks for the update.
