    Header looks like Mashable. ;)

I wouldn't put down Mashable like that. It looks like web 2.0 tripe to me... and about 18 months out of style. Seriously, that looks like an opensource Drupal template! please.

    lol

Yeah, I didn't like it at all either!

One more gripe. I wish they would get rid of the tag cloud. It's nothing but a link spammers paradise.
  • Pete Cashmore · 2 years ago
Yeah, I'm having a bit of trouble navigating, too. Dunno if it's just unfamiliarity with the design, though.
  • Matt Huggins · 2 years ago
    I hate tag clouds. Period.

There's no more ranking available anywhere, just an authority!

    That sucks!
  • Ali · 2 years ago
oops, edit sorry my bad. i was looking in the wrong area. but overall technorati just confused the crap out of me.
  • The Thinking Blog · 2 years ago
    So where is the rank?
  • Ali · 2 years ago
It was there like a minute ago, now I can't find it myself :zoinks:
  • Melissa Maples · 2 years ago
I also can't find my ranking anymore... to be honest, Technorati are pissing me off with these "upgrades" of theirs. They give us three days to bookmark where everything useful is, and then they move it all. Then we have three more days to find it all again and re-bookmark... and then then they move it again. It's frustrating. Just leave the damned thing alone for a week or two!

At least if they're going to move everything around they should have a map to where everything is, right on the front page.

Yeah, where the heck are the rankings?

What I wrote over at TechCrunch

While “falling on your own sword” might be overstating it, they better make some changes right quick, or there will be a vast exodus. It was already happening before they changed to the Authority scheme, and this will accelerate it for sure. One thing I noticed (I won’t even go to the ticker - if that last more than 24 hours, lots of people should lose their jobs) was that they’ve taken away the grouping of pics in what used to be the “Blog Directory” but now is just “Blogs”, under the title “Blog using this Tag” - I liked that feature, helped with community, which beyond people trying to get their rankings higher, is why Technorati worked - it WAS a social networking site, and now it just seems like a waste dump.

I really like the Technorati overhaul, and I'm not even a power user. I think the new upgrade of the pages is a big help the the majority of the people using Technorati.
