    One feature that I really miss from PDF converters is the ability to create hyperlinked ToC in PDF, either from .doc or a .html file. I remember using lout/latex several years ago which used to create the ToC too.

    On a similar note, Adobe's upcoming mars file format is much easier to make (from XML etc.) and has some very good features.

    If you get a PDF that won't allow you to print it, use xpdf on linux.

    Not sure if it was mentioned, but I use a pdf converter widget from pdf24.org. it works well, though lacks configuration features that a power user might want. but it's free.

    they have other tools, too.

    My adobe 8 kills me sometimes. I hate having to open acrobat reader to view a .pdf It should open it automatically If anyone has information that will help me please email me.

    pdfFactory is another great PDF creator. It creates very small (file size) PDF's.
