Awesome. Now I can block their IPs. ;)

BTW: trolls, please verify that the contact info you left was correct.

Ironically, this got held in moderation for having too many links. Now you're a real troll. ;)

This was an innovative idea! Few would have the creativity to test in this direction.

This is one of the most innovative blogs to be found.

It learns from the blogosphere, and adds elements from everything that succeeds.

Looking at The Superficial, TMZ and PerezHilton, this troll model does succeed quite well and is entertaining as well as keeping attention longer.

The posters are allowed to be as entertaining as the blog posts - without the fear of egos from the Blogger.

It was just innovative to try this tactic on a TECH blog. :-D

One day do a long post about the origin of this blog and the brain sessions.

Surprised you didn't get anything, Miss Universe. Have taken note to send you something when we next get prizes in.

    WTF

Awesome. And I have to agree with Miss Universe. This was a cool idea. I also must admit I wasn't kidding on most of my posts; there is definitely some room for improvement on Mashable! But I think Mark "Ridiculous Nickname" Hopkins is headed in the right direction with his posts. Balancing those "100 New ____ for _____" posts with some longer analytical pieces that stimulate some discussion will attract even more commenters than troll week.

Now, where do I claim my prize?

If I'd realized how weak the winning entries would be I might have tried myself.

There's better trolling than these winning entries in the Second Life Resident Answers forum.

Troll week was just barely entertaining. Too much posing and not enough flying spittle. Half the nonsense I read at Digg on any given day blows Mashable's one-off promotional gimmick out of the water.

Still, I appreciate the attempt to bring trolling to the little people. But if you want to know how it's done, I suggest you all take a look at this little gem of a thread:
