Even with Happy Cog, they've managed only this much. Pathetic. Had it been Automattic's sole creation, I'd have felt slightly better.

If you want to see it for yourself you can download the WordPress nightly bleeding edge thingy.
Keep in might that it's experimental software, so don't convert your blog or website to it, instead set up a test-site for it.
And yes, WP2.5 looks really nice admin-wise!

Bryan, the significant bug that caused problems with inserting YouTube into the WordPress 2.5 visual editor has been fixed. Specifically http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3010 .
