Always keep in mind that you'll have to create a new personal twitter account for monitwittering. If not, you'll end up spamming all your followers to death with the uptime-messages. It can reach a few thousand updates a day and that's a no-go for a usual twitter account! :(

As predited in previous posts on this page, the current status of monitwitter is:
We've decided to stop actively developing and supporting MoniTwitter. We're still using it internally, so we're going to keep it running, but we're probably not going to jump out of our seats if it goes down. This may change in the future, but for now we won't be enhancing or supporting the site.
Oh, well.
