    I don't think it really is "2.0". You still need the pro version when you want to export the models to something else than an image....

    I agree with Yme, the free version is unnecessarily tied down if it can't export to other formats. And there are people who would say that DeleD ( http://www.delgine.com ) and Wings 3D ( http://www.wings3d.com ) are as easy and more powerful.

    There are plenty of easy to use modelers, but like SketchUp (until their involvement with Google Earth) almost no one had heard of them. Which begs the question: If all these potential users didn't go looking for these tools earlier, how many will be serious users now that news of one has landed on their doorstep?

    Unlike the old masters who literally made their own, the masses have easy access to oil paint. How many people do you know are painting masterpieces?
