The best part of this video is that soon there will be links to this post from other New Media Douchebags. I look forward to collecting the URLS and inviting you all to a new Facebook group where we can share New Media Douchebag tips and tricks.

I nominate Scott Monty (www.scottmonty.com), who originally showed me this video in October, to be one of the officers.

Do I gain or lose douchebag points for failing to find this video until today, even though it's been out over a month?

Your mom is my favourite new media douchebag, especially when she's stuffing the turkey, if you know what I'm saying.

Yeesh...take your pick from dozens (if not hundreds), but I'd have to say the two largest, pus filled "new media" colostomy bags are the obesity poster boy Om Malik and Michael "Payola" Arrington.

Both are a pox upon the Internet.

No real individual target, just anyone feels the need to exaggerate the "Death Of" e-mail/Facebook/the Internet/your mom.

I mean seriously, these bloody turkeys can't seem to coordinate on what's dead or what isn't...and don't seem to realize that the masses really don't seem to care what they think is dead and what isn't.

Is it even possible to be more of a new media douchebag than Nick Starr?

All employees in the "New Media" departments of old media companies.

Get out now, the cache of your big name employer is dwindling daily.

I don't know any new media douche bags... probably due to the fact that I have a life and so do people I socialize with...

Not that at anyone at Mashable could understand any terms relating to or stemming from social. What do you do again? Blog for a living? Wow. Reputable. God would be proud.
