They are largely photo editors doing basic image correction and resizing/shaping, which is is a fairly common technology.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Graphita is about adding high quality graphical effects which enable a previously ordinary photo to connect and communicate in a way which it didn't before.It is allowing creative self expression on the zillions of digital images which exist in the world. Though i don't love the UI, I ended up using Phixr because of the Flickr integration and the ability to add text (which most don't have).
