Probably some factors to consider:

length of video
comedic value
cross culture scalability
subject matter

share some other ideas with me on twitter or on my site if you want...

thanks for the post

Re: Internet Video Producers: Have a Plan

With 2-3 million views per month (that's what? 500,000 viewers per episode for a five-minute episode), Ask a Ninja is getting an audience close to some of the small shows on cable TV, which benefit from the networks' massive advertising sales teams. I would be curious to compare the difference in advertising revenues per user between a small cable TV show and a major video podcast. Does anyone happen to have the data?

Re: Internet Video Producers: Have a Plan

nice story... here's a link the video the reporter did with Gary

http://www.daisywhitney.tv/

Re: Internet Video Producers: Have a Plan

atleast its good to know that anyone, with a good idea can make money online!

Re: Internet Video Producers: Have a Plan

It is hard work ... no surprises there ... I have been doing videos for a year ... in Spanish (a much smaller market) and now I start to see things moving ....

Not that I can even compare myself with the ones you mention .... :D
