I am actually surprised (re Comscore stats) that the growth was not higher. Especially in the US where year over year growth in social networking was only 9%? I know Comscore to be a reliable source, however the numbers are suspect to me.

This is a very good article. Social Media here in Dubai is growing fast, 98% of ad spend is still print and TV, companies like H2O New Media are booming but they seem to be one of the few companies focused on social media applications development.
