Jelly's CommandShift3 has been around for a bit, and is much better than this Hot or Not clone.

    Hmmm, smells of http://killerstartups.com, no?
They share a new startup and we vote on it.
very interesting. Are they gonna have Lorenzo Lameass on there with a laser pointer hightlighting the weaknesses of the websites? I'm in if so!

In 3 months it will be only used by spammers, thank you very much David and Martin... One couldn't expect any less from you...

    Please...

I have seen a site very similar to this recently. can't remember they name though. seems like they have stolen the idea if you ask me.

    um yeah...

    http://commandshift3.com/

Live since last summer I think...

So this would be like announcing a cool new computer that is really, really thin and ultra portable called the aBook (where a stands for "air") by some company named Pear.

No need to register just enter your URL? Wow this website will be filled by crappy sites submitted by spammers in no time. And what's up with the design? it looks like a 3rd grader did it. Unless they're planning on adding more things to the site it doesn't look promising to me.

Guys this is not a serious product or a company and it's not David Sifry's next venture. It was born from an idea of Martin Varsavsky and David Sifry as a geeky spoof on hotornot to rank web sites and it was developed in Spain by the guys FONlabs.

http://commandshift3.com/ is similar and very nicely designed, but it focuses on design. WebHotOrNot should be more about websites as services and how useful they are, not just their look.

I work for Martin and I'm sure the guys at FONlabs will be happy to accept any suggestion to make this little website more useful and fun (fonlabs@fon.com). They are already working to make it better as it's having a tremendous success.
