Besides including some DRM free material and copying itunes with being able to purchase individual songs, what else do you think they can do to make Napster more profitable? I think a lot of the issue with Napster is I believe you still can't utilize their downloaded songs on the ipod. If you could I think you would see more subscribers heading to Napster and the brand becoming even more popular. That is something itunes doesn't have any probably won't because it may cut into their profits.
marketing ... 1,300 retail stores to sell Napster subscriptions plus including coupons and such with every new PC that moves out the doors.

All about music these days. The Myspace Music thing, the Last.fm changes a while ago and Muxtape going down.. It's a hot topic, but why not... Everybody loves music right?

Not being able to use downloaded songs into the iPod is their biggest problem.

NAPSTER SERVICE IS SOOO DISHONEST!!. I went on naptster to purchase a few songs and they used my credit card info to sign me up for a “free trial†which I didn’t know I was signed up for until 3 months later! - I told them that I didn’t want the membership and to refund me but they wouldn’t do it . Extremely dishonest people.
